We are experts in motor drive. We offer a variety of sensor/-less motor drive techniques including field-oriented vector control, direct torque control, field weakening, maximum torque/amp, power/amp, .. control, acoustic noise and vibration reduction, optimal current profiling, and linear motors, induction, synchronous, dc, reluctance, flux reversal, … drive.
We also offer the design of traction drives, aerospace drives, industrial drives, and modular drive systems for consumer products. Our team has designed drives of up to 2MW for the US Dept. of Energy including six-phase drives. We offer design of sealed IP-68 drives for automotive applications including both centralized drives and distributed drives mounted around the traction motor. We have reached 80kW/L in our drive design. We have also designed heavy-duty traction drives rated at an inlet coolant temperature of 105C.
We offer a variety of current sensing methods including resistive and hall-effect based on client needs. Additionally, we design and develop our own resolver drives suitable for harsh automotive and industrial environments. We offer a wide drive speed range. For speeds of above 12,000RPM, we recommend using Silicon-Carbide switch technology instead of Silicon.
